Dear friend, You may not know what God’s purpose for your life is yet, but you can be sure that his plans for you are good. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).
God “knows.” He is not guessing or speculating. He is confident that his plans for your life are good. Because God’s promises are true, you can count on them. From now on, when things are not working out in your life, tell yourself because you believe it. “God has a plan for me. “I will prosper; I will succeed; and I will thrive.” I will have a good future. Amen!
God’s purpose for your life is to bring glory to His name.
For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by him and for him (Colossians 1:16 KJV).
God made “all things,” including you, for Himself. This means He created you to display His glory. “For from him, through him, and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36). The purpose of your life is to please God more than yourself. So, whatever you decide to do with it, make sure it is consistent with God’s word and brings honor to His name.

Another key thing to remember is that, while you may have your own plans for your life, God’s will always take precedence. How many times in your life have you made plans only to have them turn out differently than you imagined? That is because you are not in control of your life. God is. It is better to trust Him than yourself. I am talking about #Godfidence

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21 NIV)
God created you for a specific purpose, but He also created you and all his children to live by the purposes listed below:
1. God created you to have a loving relationship with him
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment (Matthew 22:37-38 KJV).
Before loving anybody else, you should love God, because it is only through your relationship with Him that you will be able to love others fully. God is the source of love, and when you love Him and spend time with him, his love will flow through you to others.
2. Fellowship with other believers
Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25 NIV).
God created you to spend time with other Christians. If you don’t already attend church, you should start so you have a community to lean on and be loved by. The Christian life is tough and you need support. You can get that by fellowshipping with other believers. Even if you feel lonely, church is the place to be.
3. Grow in spiritual maturity
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and betaken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God (Hebrews 6:1 NIV).
It is not God’s will for you to remain the same as a Christian. You are meant to grow in your faith. As you grow physically, you should also grow spiritually. Read the Bible for advancement in knowledge and maturity. The fruits of the Spirit should be evident in your life. Don’t just put “God first” in your Instagram bio. I am also speaking to myself as I say this. Don’t just post verses. Trust more and believe more.
4. Use your spiritual gifts and talents to serve Him and others
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms (1 peter 4:10 NIV).
Do you know you are blessed? God has provided you with spiritual gifts and talents. You might think you don’t have them, but everyone does. It’s simply a matter of discovering what they are for you and using them to glorify God. Keep an eye out because I’ll be talking more about these spiritual gifts and talents soon.
5. Share the gospel with others and make disciples
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15 KJV).
Don’t stay still. Share God’s word with your friends and family so that they, too, can be saved and live eternally. It’s your responsibility. I know it can be frightening, but if you think God’s word is real, you must share it. Others who have not accepted Jesus as their personal savior are in danger of eternal fire and you may be their last hope. Do it! One person at a time.
6. It is God’s purpose that you have eternal life
The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:17 NIV).
This is why it’s called “the good news.” God loves you and wants you to have eternal life. All you have to do is believe and put your faith in Jesus, and your eternity is secure! If you don’t know how to do this or don’t understand it, please write me a DM so we can have a chat about it.
7. It is God’s purpose for your life that you embrace your uniqueness
Your eyes saw me before I was put together. And all the days of my life were written in your book before any of them came to be (Psalm 139:16 NIV).
There is no one else like you on the earth. That is something worth celebrating. Accept and enjoy who you are. Of course, develop yourself in areas that need it, but don’t be too hard on yourself because you are God’s creation, and God said everything He created was and is very good. That includes you! (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
The importance of your uniqueness in fulfilling God’s purpose for your life

You might not like certain things about yourself, but God created you the way you are for a reason. He made no mistakes about your skin color, accent, background, experiences, or anything else. You have a unique story, personality, gifts, and experiences that set you apart from everyone else. There is no one like you in the world, and that’s a wonderful thing. God will make all things in your life, good and bad, work together for good (Romans 8:28). You may feel insignificant or flawed, but God will use your differences and imperfections to bless others in ways that only you can. Don’t hide your flaws; embrace them, and don’t compare yourself to the next person. Appreciate how God created you and discover how you can use who you are, for His glory.
Going away story
For so long, I thought I had no gifts or talent, and I used to envy people with musical and public speaking skills. While I was focusing on them. I was missing out on my own gifts and talents that God blessed me with, like serving, giving, encouraging, teaching, etc. I am good at these things, and I am able to bless people in my life with these gifts in ways that bring glory to God. If you have creative skills, that’s awesome. Use them for God’s glory, but if you don’t, look within you and, most importantly, ask God to reveal your gifts. In addition, work on the gifts you would like to be good at. But all in all, know that God can and will use who you are for His Glory.
When I was younger, I disliked my freckles, accent, and height. These are things that I cannot change. However, I know better now, and I love myself because God made no mistakes when he created me, and the same goes for you.
Psalms 139:14 KJV
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
King James Version (KJV)
